How does dynamic pricing work for restaurants?
PVSN's price variation engine reads real-time signals — time of day, day of week, demand, and inventory — and moves each menu price up or down within limits you set. Your prices reflect current conditions automatically, without manual edits.
What is day-part pricing?
Day-part pricing changes prices by time of day — for example a lighter lunch price and a higher dinner price. PVSN's time-based variables shift prices automatically across breakfast, lunch, happy hour, and dinner.
Can I run automatic happy-hour pricing?
Yes. Set the hours and the discount once, and PVSN lowers the relevant prices during happy hour and restores them afterward. Your menu boards reflect the change instantly — no manual updates.
Do digital menu boards update prices automatically?
Every PVSN menu board has its own private display URL. Open it fullscreen on any TV or screen with a web browser; when the engine changes a price, the board updates live. There's no app to install.
Do I need special hardware for TV menu boards?
No. Any screen that can open a web page works — a smart TV, a streaming stick, or a small media PC. The board is just a URL you point the screen at.
Do prices change without my control?
